Rolf Brönnimann, born in Dietikon, Switzerland in 1958, is an accomplished animator and illustrator. With a background in graphic design from the Kunstgewerbeschule Zürich and a Bachelor of Art degree in Animation/Illustration from the Rhode Island School of Design, Rolf has made remarkable contributions to the field. As a co-owner of bbdesign in Zürich, he has been instrumental in the realm of visual communication since 1990. Rolf’s creative portfolio includes captivating works such as “Bolero Station” (2018) and “Hang Over” (2005), where he served as the author, director, and animator. His talents have earned him recognition, including awards at renowned festivals and nominations for prestigious competitions. Rolf has also played a significant role in the production of notable animated films like “Der Geburtstagskuchen” (1991), created for the 700-year celebration of the Swiss Confederation, and “Kabukimenko” (1989). Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a remarkable ability to engage audiences with his imaginative storytelling and continues to leave a lasting impact on the world of animation and illustration.
