Emberlight’s live performances bring extraordinary artists to the Northwoods for intimate, one-of-a-kind evenings you won’t find anywhere else in the region. From virtuosic musicianship to powerful storytelling, each concert is curated to inspire, connect, and celebrate the shared magic of live performance.
This season begins with Poets & Arborists: Adam Rothenberg in Recital, as the Broadway conductor and pianist returns to the festival stage. In a program exploring the poetic and natural worlds that shape musical imagination, Rothenberg brings his signature artistry and charisma to an evening of breathtaking musicianship and reflection.
Our summer culminates with Something Wonderful, a celebratory homecoming concert featuring Metropolitan Opera tenor and Emberlight found Miles Mykkanen, joined by Rothenberg and the Broadway Strings. Spanning opera, art song, American Songbook, and Broadway, the program blends beloved classics with thrilling showpieces in a not-to-be-missed concert at the Historic Ironwood Theatre.
Together, these performances showcase Emberlight at its best — bringing world-class artists to the Northwoods for unforgettable nights of music and connection.
