Ar Schneller is a copper metalsmith who creates wall art and copper jewelry. She is the Co-President of the Range Art Association, Inc., which is celebrating its 70th anniversary. Ar likens herself to an alchemist when she takes out her tools and enters the world of fire and metal that comprises the art of coppersmithing. Her fascination with this locally-mined mineral knows no bounds, and she is constantly experimenting with the medium of copper. Ar loves demonstrating her copper techniques, and teaching at Ironwood’s DAP, where she has a studio.
