Join us on Saturday, July 2 from 12 – 2pm to celebrate the opening of Art in the Park, and on Saturday, August 27 at the Historic Ironwood Theatre when we announce the winners of $3,000 of Art in the Park prizes at our annual Award Show.
During the peak of summer in the bucolic western Upper Peninsula of Michigan, Art in the Park is one of the Emberlight Festival’s premiere events. Artists from across the upper Midwest create original installations using the greatest canvas of all: Mother Nature.
Artists will be asked to create installations inspired by Emberlight’s 2022 Festival theme: Horizons • Heritage • Harmony. Following Emberlight’s mission to provide accessible art to our community, these large creations will be featured throughout the Miners Memorial Heritage Park, along the Aurora Loop.
