Join director Colton Pometta and star Miles Mykkanen for a working rehearsal of the deliciously witty Buyer & Cellar, a one-man play by Jonathan Tolins about Alex, an out-of-work, aspiring actor hired for a mysterious job at the home of the legendary Barbra Streisand. As he begins his job, Alex falls deeper into the rabbit hole of fame and celebrity when he meets and befriends the great lady herself.
This insiders’ peek of Emberlight’s first theatrical production will reveal how theater artists work while offering a preview of the whimsical tour-de-force, which Entertainment Weekly called, “Hilarious! Beyond brilliant.” The rehearsal will be followed by a lively question-and-answer session with Colton and Miles. It’s sure to whet your appetite for the full performance, which will run July 14 – 22.
