Cas is a well-rounded arts lover who enjoys painting, crocheting, making jewelry, writing, and playing a variety of musical instruments, including bass guitar. A senior at Hurley High School, she is a member of the National Honor Society and the cheerleading and Quiz Bowl teams. She has participated in forensics and 4H and is a member of the board of directors at the Historic Ironwood Theatre, where she performs and volunteers as a lighting technician. Cas hopes to pursue a career in the arts.
“I have been involved in theatre, music, and visual arts for as long as I can remember. I would like to get a more in-depth understanding of what goes on backstage during a production or what goes into an art showcase. I also hope to build more professional working relationships. This community is filled with so many wonderful people, and I look forward to being able to share this experience with them.”
