Lauren is an Associate Professor of Art at Northland College in Ashland. In her own art, Lauren’s primary body of work is socially engaged and community-driven. She creates collaborative, multi-media portraits of individuals and the groups they represent, and pieces based on the physical, cultural, and emotional relationships of humans to animals and the food industry.
