A senior at A.D. Johnston High School, Teddy participates in cross-country, basketball and track and field. He also enjoys Quiz Bowl and Science Olympiad. He is an Eagle Scout and was inducted into the National Honor Society. This summer Teddy will participate in the Engineering Scholars Program (ESP) at Michigan Technological University. Although he doesn’t yet know what area he’d like to pursue, Teddy anticipates a career in engineering.
“I would like a chance to speak with individuals who excel in their field of study, whether it’s engineering or the performing arts. Although I will not pursue a career in the arts, I appreciate its spectacular ability to affect people. Even in times of struggle and strife, like now, art is something that we can all appreciate together. I want to have a job I can be proud of while also being able to fully appreciate art and what it can teach me about myself and the world.”
