Emberlight’s Art on Film series brings acclaimed cinematic, musical, and operatic works to audiences in the Northwoods through a curated collection of special screenings presented throughout the summer festival season.
Spanning classic Hollywood musicals, landmark arts documentaries, and contemporary opera from the world’s leading stages, Art on Film explores the many ways storytelling, music, and visual artistry intersect on screen. Each evening offers audiences the opportunity to experience celebrated works in a communal setting — whether revisiting a beloved classic or discovering a groundbreaking production for the first time.
The 2026 series features the timeless elegance of An American in Paris, the acclaimed Metropolitan Opera documentary The Opera House, and the Metropolitan Opera’s sweeping new production of The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay.
