ART SHOWS GRAND OPENING

Join us on Friday, July 1 at 4pm for the grand opening of three art shows at the Historic Depot Museum: Ancestral Women Exhibit, Emberlight Photographers, and the Heritage Flags!

ART IN THE PARK

During the peak of summer in the bucolic western Upper Peninsula of Michigan, Art in the Park is one of the Emberlight Festival’s premiere events.  Artists from across the upper Midwest create original installations using the greatest canvas of all: Mother Nature.

RANGE ART ASSOCIATION SHOW

For over 65 years the Range Art Association shows all submitted art in their exhibit, with an additional Masters Show that is judged and includes monetary prizes.

DOWNTOWN ART PLACE SHOW

The mission of the Downtown Art Place (DAP) is to promote and sustain the creation and appreciation of the visual arts in the greater Ironwood area (encompassing Gogebic and Ontonagon counties in Michigan, and Iron and Vilas counties in Wisconsin).

HERITAGE FLAGS

“A people without the knowledge of their past history, origin and culture is like a tree without roots.” —Marcus Garvey

EMBERLIGHT PHOTOGRAPHERS

To celebrate the art of photography, we are proud to present Emberlight Photographers: Discovering Artists in Nature.

ANCESTRAL WOMEN EXHIBIT

Through hand-woven jacquard weavings the Ancestral Women Exhibit honors and celebrates elder women, one from each of the 12 Native American tribes in Wisconsin.
