Kara is an artistic senior at Wakefield-Marenisco School with dual enrollment at Gogebic Community College. A dancer since the age of three, she is also a member of the Awkward Stage Drama Club. She enjoys drawing and playing flute in the band, but her first love is singing. She has performed in talent shows that take place at the Historic Ironwood Theatre, such as H.I.T. Idol.
“The Emberlight Ambassador program offers a great opportunity for personal growth and improvement. It’s a chance to strengthen my passions and better my character as well. Meeting professionals in this program and possibly getting their feedback is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. We often don’t have a ton of big opportunities around this area, but this will change that. I look forward to spending the summer doing what I enjoy while learning and helping others all at the same time.”
