Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances out of Emberlight Art’s control, this event is CANCELLED. (Updated: August 15)
Get to know powerhouse performers Ann and Madeleine as musicians and as people before you see them onstage on August 19! Emberlight Creative Producer Cindy Franck will guide a conversation between the soprano and pianist as they share the beginnings of their classical music careers, the repertoire they most enjoy performing, how they’re building 21st century classical music careers, and why classical music is still relevant in the digital age. Audience questions will be welcomed and encouraged.
Operatic soprano, Ann, is a former member of the Ryan Opera Center at the Lyric Opera of Chicago, a 2016 Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions national semifinalist, and 2019 Richard F. Gold Career Grant Recipient. Pianist, Madeline, is an acclaimed collaborator, recitalist, and highly sought-after operatic coach who is a member of the Houston Grand Opera music staff, with additional appointments at Opera Theatre of Saint Louis, Wolf Trap Opera, and Lyric Opera of Chicago.
