FORGING THE PAST INTO THE PRESENT
Jeff Walker learned the art of blacksmithing twenty years ago in his home state of South Dakota. As a member of the Dakota Artists-Blacksmiths’ Association, he is passionate about preserving blacksmithing in the modern world. Now transplanted to Northern Wisconsin, he travels with a trailer full of tools, portable forges, and homemade charcoal, and showcases his blacksmithing wherever there are people curious about this ancient craft.
ABOUT PERFORMANCE INFUSIONS
Emberlight’s Performance Infusion series brings audiences up close with the creative process, offering a rare glimpse into the passion, dedication, and craft that drive artists to pursue their work.
Each Saturday at 1:00 pm, a different artist or ensemble takes center stage in the heart of Art in the Park, sharing their talents, stories, and inspirations. From music and storytelling to hands-on demonstrations, each Infusion is a unique, immersive experience designed to spark curiosity and deepen connections between artists and audiences.
Best of all? Every Performance Infusion is completely free to attend. So bring a friend, take a stroll through the park, and let the creative process unfold before your eyes.
