During the peak of summer in the bucolic western Upper Peninsula of Michigan, Art in the Park is one of the Emberlight Festival’s premiere events. Artists from across the upper Midwest create original installations using the greatest canvas of all: Mother Nature.
Since its inception in 1954, the Range Art Association has been dedicated to promoting art and artists as a vital part of the Gogebic Range’s cultural heritage.
The mission of the Downtown Art Place (DAP) is to promote and sustain the creation and appreciation of the visual arts in the greater Ironwood area (encompassing Gogebic and Ontonagon counties in Michigan, and Iron and Vilas counties in Wisconsin).

To celebrate the art of photography, we are proud to present Emberlight Photographers: Discovering Artists in Nature.
Through hand-woven jacquard weavings the Ancestral Women Exhibit honors and celebrates elder women, one from each of the 12 Native American tribes in Wisconsin.
Experience the creation of a monumental soft sculpture, as thirty knitters work in unison to
combine their thirty individual knit pieces into one.
The 2022 International Film Festival will feature ten screenings at Theatre North from August 20 – 27. Over 750 films have been submitted from 75 countries. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to experience perspectives and lifestyles from artists across the globe!
From the world’s stages back to Ironwood! Three productions at The Metropolitan Opera, the release of his first CD, and acclaimed debuts across stages in North America and Europe. But now he comes home to the Historic Ironwood Theatre.
